Money

Money money. So they say… is the root of all evil tooo day. At least it is, according to Pink Floyd. Truth is money, plays a huge part in all of our lives. And in this economy especially, with people feeling so uncertain, people have a ton of questions about money.

T. Harv Ecker, the guy behind the “Millionaire Mind” seminar says that everyone has a “money blueprint”, based on what you learned from your parents growing up. And he says that he can look at anyone and in 30 seconds of talking to them tell them their exact financial situation and predict their whole financial future.

Does that make him psychic?

It might appear that way. But really, he’s just being incredibly brutally honest. You probably have friends who have trouble with money, or are great with money, and you can completely tell why their money situation is the way it is. For instance, I had a friend who was making $60,000 a year, but she spent so much money on shoes and handbags that it was clear she did not know how to manage her money. Her personality was also very hyper, you could just tell that she was not somebody who had a prosperous mindset. As such, she was always broke, yet she was making more per year than me and I always had more money.

When it comes to money, the signs and stars play a small role. But more important is your personal accountability, awareness, and behavior when it comes to money. A good psychic can intuitively feel and see deep inside you and help you discover what’s really going on in your life as it relates to money. You can then use this insight to help change your mindset and actions as it relates to money.

But many people do not approach psychic readings this way. Instead, the term “psychic” has been more frequently associated with lotteries and casinos. You know, that whole “element of chance” and “hope that things turn out” kind of thing. So a lot of people go to a psychic because they are feeling uncertain about money, and hope the psychic will tell them the future. But too often, people just call a psychic to stop feeling nervous or fearful. Some people ironically get hooked on calling psychic hotlines because it makes them feel better, while its costing them money at the same time.

Personally, I think that psychics who charge people $19.95 a minute to answer questions about money are jerks. It’s taking advantage. If you have questions about money in your life, please please please: be smart. Don’t blow your paycheck talking to a psychic.

If, however, you are looking to understand yourself better and find empowering ways to improve your life, then by all means consult a reputable psychic. And here are some tips to make sure you get the most bang for your buck.

  • Make sure to come with specific questions
  • Be open and ready to confront yourself and your behavior
  • Write things down from the session
  • Don’t expect grand predictions of the future
  • Ask how you can apply the psychic’s knowledge to your life

With these things in mind, you can find a psychic reading to be an insightful and extremely beneficial tool to use in improving your money situation.
